Debbie was the Endangered Species Policy Intern for Defenders’ Center for Conservation Innovation, where she worked on issues at the intersection of science and policy. Her research focused on federal agency implementation of the US Endangered Species Act and the application of science in decisions concerning species protections. She worked on a large-scale project evaluating the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Habitat Conservation Plan program.
