As the Coordinator for the Center for Conservation Innovation at Defenders, Naanibah assists with program work and provides support to the CCI team.

Prior to beginning work at Defenders, Naanibah was an Environmental Specialist within the Office of Environmental Technical Assistance at Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, Inc. An organization that assists the 22 Pueblos and Tribes of New Mexico and promotes environmental health and the protection of tribal lands from environmental pollutants. She focused on environmental information exchange, including work with water quality and data management. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Colorado College. During her free time, Naanibah enjoys reading and exploring new places.
