In this CCI Seminar Series, Prof. Fenichel will discuss work on US Natural Capital Accounting, including what it is, why it is important, and how stakeholders might participate.
Professor Eli is currently the Knobloch Family Professor of Natural Resource Economics at Yale University. He received a PhD from Michigan State University in 2007 and was on the faculty of Arizona State University for four years prior to joining Yale in 2012. Professor Eli conducts quantitative research that connects economics, natural science, epidemiology, and sustainable development, with a focus on intertemporal allocation and tradeoffs. From June 2021 through January 2023, he served in the Biden-Harris Administration’s Office of Science and Technology Policy as the Assistant Director for Natural Resource Economics and Accounting.
