Abstract

In this webinar, Michael presents his and Jacob’s recently published paper - Supporting habitat conservation with automated change detection in Google Earth Engine. He covers the importance and need for more comprehensive, effective, and efficient monitoring of conservation laws, presents the algorithms they developed and tested in the paper, and introduces participants to the Habitat Patrol app, which was built to allow the public to access those algorithms.
