As Vice President, Lindsay leads the Center for Conservation Innovation’s science, technology, and policy teams as we work together to pioneer innovative, pragmatic conservation solutions. We partner with others inside and outside of Defenders to make conservation data available and easily interpretable, so that policy makers and the public can make informed decisions about conservation. Lindsay draws on over a decade of experience in the conservation science community, leading interdisciplinary teams on issues related to biodiversity, climate change, and adaptive management. She also serves as an affiliate faculty member in the Environmental Science and Policy department at George Mason University and teaches online courses in the Natural Resources department at the University of Connecticut. Lindsay is always happy to talk shop, but in her free time, this phytophile is playing outside with her husband and daughter.
