As Senior Conservation Scientist, Lindsay leads teams in the production of quality science to improve biodiversity conservation policies and practices. She draws on her background in natural resources management and her expertise in spatial ecology to provide support, build capacity, and advance research for Defenders and coalition partners.
Before joining CCI, Lindsay’s research explored mechanisms driving plant responses to environmental change and predicted forest community pattern shifts across space and time. Lindsay’s first brush with wildlife conservation was in Australia where she quietly followed platypuses around, observing their behaviors and mapping their individual territories. In her free time, this phytophile and avid board-gamer is playing outside with her husband and daughter.
